Description
An odorless silicon dioxide powder. Silicon dioxide is used as a conditioning agent and carrier to improve the flow behavior and storage stability of powdered and granulated products. Zeofree® 5162 prevents these products from caking, lumping, bridging, and clogging equipment. The result is improved flow properties, faster production, increased capacity, reduced production downtime, improved product quality and consistency, and improved package weight accuracy. Zeofree® 5162 has an average particle size of 16 microns.
Zeofree® 5162 is also used in the food industry for packaging of powdered eggs, non-dairy creamers, soups, pork spice mixes, ground chili powders, dried sauce mixes, flours, cane sugars, and shredded cheeses.
