Raw Materials
Shipping cost is determined by weight. In most cases, up to 15 lbs of raw material can be shipped for a flat rate of $15. There are exceptions based on density of material (e.g. 15 lbs of Magnesium Carbonate cannot be shipped via flat rate for $15).
For orders greater than 15 lbs, we will determine the most economical shipping. Usually, for raw material up to 25 pounds, the shipping will cost between $20-$30.
For raw material greater than 25 lbs, we use FedEx Ground/Home depending on whether you have a commercial or residential address. For residential addresses, the cost is about $5/package more.
We also utitlize US Post Office flat rate boxes. If your order can fit in these boxes, we will use this service to save on shipping. For example, items like rutile, black iron oxide and Denzox all fit in large flat rate boxes and are much cheaper to ship using this method than FedEx/UPS.
For full bag orders (> 50 lbs), we may reduce the material weight to less than 50 lbs to save on shipping. Carriers are now charging a premium of $25 for any package over 50 lbs. If we need to reduce the weight on your full bag order, we will honor the full bag price.

Porcelain (Black Ice, ANETO, Upsala) – 11 lbs each

2 clay bodies – shipping is $15 to anywhere in the USA
3 clay bodies – shipping is $30 to anywhere in the USA
4 clay bodies – shipping is $30 to anywhere in the USA
5 or more clay bodies – FedEx Ground/Home
Non-Porcelain (Stoneware, Earthenware, etc.) – ~28 lbs each
1 clay body – shipping is $15 to anywhere in the USA
2 clay bodies – shipping is $30 to anywhere in the USA
3 or more clay bodies – FedEx Ground/Home
Laguna Clay – 25 lbs each package/50 lb full box
1 clay body (25 lbs) – shipping is $15 to anywhere in the USA
2 clay bodies (50 lbs – full box) – shipping is $26 to anywhere in the USA
3 or more clay bodies – FedEx Ground/Home
Trucking
Large orders may require use of trucking to deliver. Freight costs will depend on the weight and location of delivery. We have a wide network of trucking companies that we use.
