Description

Conveniently comes filmed-wrapped in a 27.6 lb. (12.5 kg) package

White sculpture and Raku clay body with 40% fine grog (up to 35 Mesh).  Formulated for artistic ceramics, it is ideal for sculpture, murals and Raku pieces.  The high content of grog confers a beautiful textured surface and an excellent behavior during drying and firing.  Its particular ivory color after firing is much appreciated and provides an excellent ware for glazes and coloring oxides, which develop bright and intense tones.  It is also known as “Rafael” clay, and it is very popular because of its excellent behavior for Raku.

Available in extruded body (moist form).
